Williamson County Animal Center has an ongoing need for specific items that you can check out on our online wish list
Occasionally, there are specialized needs for help with:

- Facility enhancements
- Special medical treatment for animals
- Specialized training and equipment
- Surgical equipment
How to Give
Every gift is greatly appreciated and used to provide high-quality care to the animals entrusted to the Center. Donations may be tax deductible, consult your tax professional.
Items may be dropped off at your convenience. If you are not able to make it to the Center during normal business hours, in-kind contributions can be left in the outside donation collection bin. However, please come by during hours of operation if you wish to be given a receipt.
Household Items and Pet Supplies
Items that are ALWAYS welcomed:
- Cat and/or dog beds (except feather)
- Leashes, harnesses, collars
- Bowls, litterboxes, brushes, PET toys
- Blankets, sheets, towels, washcloths
- Gates, ramps, stairs, scratching posts
Items that it is best to ask if needed:
Items that should be given to another organization:
- Kids toys and/or stuffed animals - many are made with pieces not safe for animals
- Fresh grown catnip - not all cat tummies can handle it
- Bed pillows, cushions, mattress covers, toppers, foam padding
- Old t-shirts and/or fabric scraps
- Any materials with beads and/or tassels
Pet Food & Medication
Pet food, treats, and medication donations are welcomed as long as they have not expired and are in their original packaging. Any of these items that we receive that are expired and/or not in their original packaging will be disposed of. Items that have been opened, have not expired, and are in the original packaging are accepted. Items in ziploc bags, food containers, or otherwise stored outside of their original packaging are not accepted, even if the product name is written on the container.
If you have items that we do not accept, please dispose of them yourselves or contact another organization who may benefit from them.
Food and treat donations may be distributed as part of the "Paw Pantry" Pet Food Bank that provides support to Williamson County pet parents in need.
